BILL WYLIE
Bill Wylie is an experienced and highly motivated artist specializing in Comic Book Illustration and Storyboards. His solid drawing skill and cinematic storytelling sense have proven to be a winning combination for many editors and art directors in NYC for 20 years.
Bill graduated from the University of Kansas with a BFA in Illustration in 1986. During school, he worked as an illustrator for Hallmark Cards and the Kansas City Star Newspaper. After moving to NYC, he worked for Marvel Comics in the art corrections dept. as a John Romita's Raider. After this in-house experience, Bill penciled many Marvel Comics issues, covers and pin ups, as well as designing toy figures.
In 1995, he branched out, applying his cinematic technique to storyboards for major advertising agencies and production studios in NYC. Also, his ability to accurately portray cartoon characters led to jobs doing line art for trademarked characters such as Teletubbies and Digimon. In 2002 and 2003, he illustrated full color graphic novels of the historical figures The Wright Brothers and Amelia Earhart.
